Terms of Service
Effective: September 14, 2026
These Terms govern your use of My Pedalboard (“the Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
The Service lets users create and share musical gear signal chains, notes, images, and eligible YouTube videos. Features may change as the Service develops.
2. Accounts
Google sign-in is used to create and access an account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for maintaining the security of your Google account. You may delete your account from My Page. Signing in again afterward creates a new empty account; deleted data cannot be restored.
3. User content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the Service a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as necessary to operate, secure, and promote the Service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited copies retained in backups or as legally required.
You represent that you own your submitted content or have all permissions necessary to submit and display it. Do not upload product photographs, artwork, logos, text, personal information, or other material merely because it is available online.
4. YouTube content
You may submit only YouTube videos uploaded by the YouTube channel you connect to the Service. YouTube playback remains subject to YouTube’s Terms of Service, availability, privacy settings, and embedding controls. The Service may remove an unavailable or noncompliant video link.
5. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service to violate law or third-party rights; impersonate another person; publish unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or malicious content; expose private information; distribute malware; bypass access controls; automate abusive requests; interfere with the Service; or falsely report lawful content.
6. Board visibility
Public boards may be viewed, shared, indexed, and displayed in public listings. Unlisted boards do not appear in the Service's public listings or search, but anyone who has the board link may view and share them. Private boards are intended to be accessible only to their owner. No online storage method is guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Do not store secrets or highly sensitive information in the Service.
7. Moderation
We may remove or restrict content, suspend access, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the Service, respond to rights reports, comply with law, or address security risks. We are not obligated to monitor all content.
8. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, compatibility, or preservation of any particular feature. Keep your own copy of important information.
9. Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or opportunity arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be submitted to a court in Japan having jurisdiction under applicable law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced through the Service where reasonably practicable. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
